HOW I CREATE

Start with the idea. Build the experience.

Creative work becomes stronger when the concept, the audience, and the way people experience the work are considered together. I approach projects as connected systems—moving from idea through production, release, response, and refinement.

CREATIVE PROCESS

From idea to audience.

Whether I am developing an original world, directing a live production, designing an interactive story, or building a digital series, the work follows the same basic cycle.

01

Concept

Find the central idea, define the creative intent, and establish what makes the project worth experiencing.

Creative Strategy Original IP Worldbuilding
02

Experience

Design around the person on the other side—what they understand, feel, choose, discover, and remember.

Audience Experience Player Agency Interactive Storytelling
03

Production

Translate the creative vision into something executable— aligning people, workflows, technology, schedules, and standards around the work.

Creative Direction Production Team Leadership
04

Audience

Build the pathways that help the work reach people— programming, distribution, community, promotion, and the ongoing relationship around the project.

Distribution Community Audience Development
05

Iteration

Pay attention to what actually happened—then use audience behavior, creative feedback, and performance data to make the next version stronger.

Analytics Feedback Creative Development

The goal is not simply to make content. It is to create an experience people choose to return to.

SELECTED CREATIVE WORK

From original worlds to audience-facing experiences.

My creative work spans original IP, interactive storytelling, video and audio production, live programming, editorial media, performance, and audience development—from early concept through production, release, and iteration.

INTERACTIVE STORYTELLING & WORLDBUILDING

One world. Multiple ways in.

Aer’yndor is an original fantasy setting developed across interactive play, serialized video, audio, short-form fiction, and long-form writing. Rather than treating each format as a separate adaptation, I use each medium to reveal a different part of the world.

AN EVOLVING ORIGINAL IP

Stories change when the audience can touch them.

Player decisions create consequences. Those consequences become history. History creates new characters, conflicts, and stories— and those stories can then move into entirely different formats.

That creates a world that does more than support one campaign, show, or novel. It becomes a narrative system capable of generating new stories across formats while maintaining a shared sense of history, consequence, and identity.

Community

Livestream audiences, social platforms, and community spaces create another layer of participation around the world—turning viewers into an ongoing creative community.

Audience Development Community Live Engagement
01

Design for agency.

Create enough structure to give the experience direction without predetermining what participants will do.

02

Build for consequence.

Allow decisions, characters, and events to permanently change the world so the setting accumulates history rather than resetting after each story.

03

Expand through format.

Use interactive play, prose, podcasting, and short-form video for what each medium does best instead of simply retelling the same story in different places.

The world isn't the story. It's the system that makes more stories possible.

CREATIVE LEADERSHIP & PRODUCTION

Ideas need infrastructure.

Creative direction means building the clarity, workflows, relationships, and production systems that turn an idea into finished work.

I work across concept development, creative direction, team leadership, production, post-production, distribution, and audience response—connecting the creative vision to the systems required to deliver it.

The goal is not to control every creative decision. It is to give talented people enough clarity to do their best work.

01

CREATIVE DIRECTION

Turn an idea into a shared vision.

Establish creative intent, tone, audience, format, and standards early enough that collaborators understand what they are building while still having room to contribute their own expertise.

Concept Development Creative Strategy Original IP Brand Direction Creative Feedback
02

TEAM LEADERSHIP

Lead distributed creative teams.

Coordinate performers, moderators, editors, artists, and collaborators across remote workflows—balancing creative ownership with clear expectations, timelines, communication, and the needs of the larger production.

Distributed Teams Talent Collaboration Feedback Production Planning Creative Operations
03

PRODUCTION

Build the systems behind the work.

Develop repeatable workflows for live and recorded production, including broadcast systems, audio and video capture, editing, asset coordination, publishing, and post-production.

Video Production Audio Production Livestreaming Editing Post-Production Broadcast Systems
04

AUDIENCE & DISTRIBUTION

Design for what happens after release.

Consider how work reaches people from the beginning— shaping formats, packaging, publishing, community engagement, platform strategy, and the relationship between long-form, short-form, live, audio, and social content.

YouTube Twitch TikTok Social Strategy Community Distribution
05

ITERATION

Use response to make the next version better.

Review audience behavior, retention, engagement, production performance, and qualitative feedback to understand what is working, what is not, and where the creative or production system should change.

Analytics Audience Behavior Performance Data Testing Iteration

FROM CONCEPT TO RELEASE

Creative vision has to survive production.

01 Develop

Idea, audience, format, story, creative intent.

02 Prepare

Talent, assets, workflows, scheduling, technical setup.

03 Produce

Performance, direction, recording, broadcast, capture.

04 Finish

Editing, audio, visual assets, packaging, quality control.

05 Release

Distribution, promotion, community, audience response.

06 Learn

Analytics, feedback, refinement, next iteration.

Strong creative operations protect the idea instead of getting in its way.

WHAT'S NEXT

Build the idea. Make it real.

I work at the intersection of creative direction, storytelling, production, and audience experience—helping ideas move from concept to finished work.
