Concept
Find the central idea, define the creative intent, and establish what makes the project worth experiencing.
PETER HOPKINS
Creative Direction • Interactive Storytelling • Media • Performance
I build original entertainment from idea through execution— developing worlds, directing creative teams, producing digital programming, shaping audience experiences, and creating stories designed to be participated in rather than simply watched.
HOW I CREATE
Creative work becomes stronger when the concept, the audience, and the way people experience the work are considered together. I approach projects as connected systems—moving from idea through production, release, response, and refinement.
CREATIVE PROCESS
Whether I am developing an original world, directing a live production, designing an interactive story, or building a digital series, the work follows the same basic cycle.
Find the central idea, define the creative intent, and establish what makes the project worth experiencing.
Design around the person on the other side—what they understand, feel, choose, discover, and remember.
Translate the creative vision into something executable— aligning people, workflows, technology, schedules, and standards around the work.
Build the pathways that help the work reach people— programming, distribution, community, promotion, and the ongoing relationship around the project.
Pay attention to what actually happened—then use audience behavior, creative feedback, and performance data to make the next version stronger.
The goal is not simply to make content. It is to create an experience people choose to return to.
SELECTED CREATIVE WORK
My creative work spans original IP, interactive storytelling, video and audio production, live programming, editorial media, performance, and audience development—from early concept through production, release, and iteration.
FLAGSHIP CREATIVE PLATFORM
A multi-platform digital media studio developing original entertainment, creator-led programming, interactive stories, and audience communities.
As Founder and Creative Director, I lead creative strategy, brand development, production systems, original IP development, talent collaboration, distribution, and audience growth across live and recorded programming.
INTERACTIVE STORYTELLING • ORIGINAL IP
A persistent original fantasy world developed for collaborative storytelling, serialized entertainment, player agency, and emergent narrative—where characters and player decisions continually reshape the story.
GAMES MEDIA • EDITORIAL • VIDEO
Creator-led games media translating systems, design ideas, releases, and community conversations into accessible long-form and short-form programming for players, game masters, and tabletop audiences.
EPISODIC • SHOW DEVELOPMENT • PRODUCER
Original creator-led episodic shows developed for YouTube, combining conversation, games, collaborative storytelling, and creative analysis with structured video production and audience engagement. Tabling The Narrative also extends into podcasting, adapting the format for audio distribution and expanding its reach across platforms.
PODCASTING • AUDIO PRODUCTION • STORYTELLING
Long-form audio programming combining serialized storytelling, creator conversation, tabletop culture, and narrative development— produced for audiences who engage with the work beyond the live experience.
NOVEL • PUBLISHING • ORIGINAL IP
A long-form fiction project expanding the world of Aer’yndor beyond live and interactive storytelling into prose—developing character, history, mythology, and narrative threads as a standalone written work within the larger setting.
SHORT-FORM VIDEO • SERIAL FICTION • ORIGINAL IP
An original story told through short-form video—using episodic narrative, performance, visual storytelling, and platform-native pacing to expand the Aer’yndor setting for social audiences.

Aer’yndor is an original fantasy setting developed across interactive play, serialized video, audio, short-form fiction, and long-form writing. Rather than treating each format as a separate adaptation, I use each medium to reveal a different part of the world.
AN EVOLVING ORIGINAL IP
Player decisions create consequences. Those consequences become history. History creates new characters, conflicts, and stories— and those stories can then move into entirely different formats.
That creates a world that does more than support one campaign, show, or novel. It becomes a narrative system capable of generating new stories across formats while maintaining a shared sense of history, consequence, and identity.
Oathfyre and The Shattered God use collaborative play, player agency, and emergent decisions to create events that permanently shape the setting.
Lost Histories of Aer’yndor: The Loreweaver expands the setting through prose, character, history, mythology, and standalone narrative.
Ghosts of Aer’yndor uses short-form video to tell episodic original stories through performance, visual storytelling, and platform-native pacing.
The Shattered God extends beyond video into podcast distribution, allowing serialized storytelling to reach audiences through an audio-first experience.
Livestream audiences, social platforms, and community spaces create another layer of participation around the world—turning viewers into an ongoing creative community.
Create enough structure to give the experience direction without predetermining what participants will do.
Allow decisions, characters, and events to permanently change the world so the setting accumulates history rather than resetting after each story.
Use interactive play, prose, podcasting, and short-form video for what each medium does best instead of simply retelling the same story in different places.
The world isn't the story. It's the system that makes more stories possible.
CREATIVE LEADERSHIP & PRODUCTION
Creative direction means building the clarity, workflows, relationships, and production systems that turn an idea into finished work.
I work across concept development, creative direction, team leadership, production, post-production, distribution, and audience response—connecting the creative vision to the systems required to deliver it.
The goal is not to control every creative decision. It is to give talented people enough clarity to do their best work.
CREATIVE DIRECTION
Establish creative intent, tone, audience, format, and standards early enough that collaborators understand what they are building while still having room to contribute their own expertise.
TEAM LEADERSHIP
Coordinate performers, moderators, editors, artists, and collaborators across remote workflows—balancing creative ownership with clear expectations, timelines, communication, and the needs of the larger production.
PRODUCTION
Develop repeatable workflows for live and recorded production, including broadcast systems, audio and video capture, editing, asset coordination, publishing, and post-production.
AUDIENCE & DISTRIBUTION
Consider how work reaches people from the beginning— shaping formats, packaging, publishing, community engagement, platform strategy, and the relationship between long-form, short-form, live, audio, and social content.
ITERATION
Review audience behavior, retention, engagement, production performance, and qualitative feedback to understand what is working, what is not, and where the creative or production system should change.
FROM CONCEPT TO RELEASE
Idea, audience, format, story, creative intent.
Talent, assets, workflows, scheduling, technical setup.
Performance, direction, recording, broadcast, capture.
Editing, audio, visual assets, packaging, quality control.
Distribution, promotion, community, audience response.
Analytics, feedback, refinement, next iteration.
Strong creative operations protect the idea instead of getting in its way.
WHAT'S NEXT
I work at the intersection of creative direction, storytelling, production, and audience experience—helping ideas move from concept to finished work.
